here’s to “day two” on “day three”…

I’m a bad blogger. I already skipped a day of NaBloPoMo… Shame on me. And you want to know why I did it?

Because for once, I didn’t feel like I had anything interesting to say.

Not that right now is all that different, really… I mean, as I’m sitting here typing this, I’m not at all sure where it’s going to go…

I’ve been thinking a lot about how to tackle this whole “posting every day [minus the 2nd because I already missed it]” thing. November is jam-packed with things on my calendar. My birthday is this month. I’ve got an all-weekend training to attend in mid-November that I’m not too happy about (that happens to be the weekend immediately before my birthday). I’m running a 10K at the end of the month because that’s all I could get motivated for… Lots of things happening that I can potentially write about later.

But how do I fill the other gaps between those momentous occasions? Especially when I don’t really care for the suggested “prompts” that are out there?…

I’ve been thinking about getting down and dirty with thoughts on strong women with celebrity that I admire, like Elizabeth Gilbert, for example. She’s been in the press a lot lately and is currently touring with Oprah’s new thing… What is it? “Live Your Best Life Now” or something??…

I’ve also been considering writing more about Korean culture and the interesting events I’ve attended here since the start of this year. All the things I’ve been meaning to sit down and write about but haven’t. There seems to be no better time than right now.

And I think I might even broach a conversation or two about sex, homosexuality, abortion, and other “sticky topics” and how, as a millennial and previous uber-conservative, my views have changed since being in Korea.

But no matter how things begin unfolding, rest assured, Reader, that you will have some crappy and/or oddly-crafted thoughts from me to entertain you on your commute or while you wait for the dentist this month. Because I’m giving you my scout’s honor: I’m going to try my best to give it to you straight… Whatever “it” is.

Happy reading. And happy Monday. (As I have already experienced all that Monday had to offer, I’m just letting you know that this one wasn’t so bad. Enjoy it!)
