DMZ adventure photos…

If you missed it, I wrote yesterday about my recent trip up to the South Korean side of the DMZ and my stop back at Seoraksan National Park. If you missed the post, I encourage you to go back and read it.

Due to some uploading difficulties, I wasn’t able to include a photo gallery with the post, but I’m doing it today!

My pics certainly don’t do the place(s) justice; it was truly an incredible experience.

Enjoy!

Thank you for sharing these photos Krissi. One startling thing is that they illustrate how hard it must have been to fight a war in this area. I knew the terrain was difficult, but some of these shots really drive home what that means.

    • It truly is a beautiful place, Dan. I had no idea until I moved here; is never thought of Korea as being geographically interesting. I, too, can only imagine what it must have been like during the war. I like to take time to think about where I am and the history that has taken place there; walking though Dutayeon was especially powerful, as I knew some had fought and possibly died where I was.

If you ever get the chance to travel to Korea, be sure to make arrangements to see these areas! :)
